    Baby Nursery Decorating Tips

Hope you enjoyed this baby nursery inspiration and got some ideas for decorating your little one’s nursery.

Whether you want a gender neutral nursery, or a nursery with a girl or boy theme, here are some tips to keep in mind.

    • Before going out and starting to buy things for your nursery, settle on a color scheme. Choose the base color and then decide on complementary colors you want to see in the nursery. Neutral whites, greys, light pink or blue make for good base colors.
    • Think about wall decor. Something fun on the wall can add some color to the room and can help set the tone and style of the nursery. This can be something painted on the wall, or some cute wallpaper. I know I’ve seen some pretty cute wallpapers and decals for nurseries on Etsy.
    • Create a focal point in the nursery. A lot of times the focal point is centered around the crib, but you can get creative and also use a center it around a signature piece or something like a window.
    • Decorate the ceiling. You can have a lot of fun with a nursery and do things that you wouldn’t normally do in other parts of the house. One great idea is adding glowing stars to the ceiling.
